Wood Galway os currently seeking to recruit a Business &amp; Quality Systems Coordinator for our busy Galway Engineering office who are part of our Specialist Engineering &amp; Consultancy division.<br />

Reporting to the Ireland Operations Director the role will support all necessary Business Management and Quality System activities in the Galway office. You will act as local coordinator within the local team to ensure that the Wood Management Systems are adequately maintained and implemented so that resulting actions are delivered effectively at all times.<br />

<ul>
<li>Ensure all local Quality and Business Management Systems documentation is kept up-to-date and ensuring all relevant policies and practices are adopted are followed</li>
<li>Liaise with Wood regional functional leads to keep appraised and report on quality and business management systems changes or evolution</li>
<li>Coordinate roll-out of group and local initiatives</li>
<li>Ensure that the Wood Galway Quality Management System certification remains operational</li>
<li>Manage suppliers&
39; performance and manage client feedback</li>
<li>Maintain Quality performance databases in accordance with company requirements</li>
<li>Prepare and attend Management Review meetings</li>
<li>Conduct system, supplier, and office-based audits, close out audit findings, creating audit reports and determine proper corrective and preventive actions, through Root Cause Analysis (RCA)</li>
<li>Act as point of contact for ISO certifications and ensure certification is maintained locally.</li>
<li>Organize in-house Quality training as required</li>
<li>Track actions associated with QMS, in particular - Non-Conformance remediation actions</li>
<li>Maintain document control and records registry</li>
<li>Assist in the formatting of a range of documentation</li>
<li>Manage Business and Quality objective, KPI&
39;s and metric reports</li>
<li>Complete relevant reports as required and provide information as required to others for reporting purposes</li>

<li>Proficient in the use of Microsoft office to include Excel, Word, VISIO, and all other necessary software</li>
<li>Strong communication, planning and organizational skills</li>
<li>Experience of working in and managing a Quality Management system preferable but training will be provided</li>
<li>Ability to coordinate budgets and projects against timely deadlines</li>
<li>The ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams</li>
<li>A 3 rd level business qualification and/or a strong interest in general business operations.</li>
