Senior Quality Advisor

Well check out what Wood has to offer within an exciting role as a <b>Senior Quality Advisor</b> in our St. John's NL Operations Team. <br><br>This position will offer you a supportive and collaborative environment, which will enable you to grow your skills and abilities while completing challenging yet rewarding work. <br><br>Wood values it's employees, therefore, will provide a competitive salary, a comprehensive health and dental benefits package, the option to take part in a Group RRSP plan, as well as preferred rates for Wood Shares. <br><br>Key responsibilities within this role will include, but are not limited to the following: <br><ul><li> Provide QA / QC expertise for design and execution of the project work-scope </li><li> QC review of supplier documentation submitted for purchased product to confirm compliance with requirements </li><li> QA / QC activities at office facilities and vendor manufacturing sites to achieve project objectives </li><li> Review and assess QA / QC requirements of tenders and contract documentation. Provide QA / QC input into major contractor specifications </li><li> Review and approval of Supplier Inspection and Test Plans meeting project requirements </li><li> Liaise as necessary with client quality personnel on project quality activities </li><li> Evaluation of potential suppliers and sub-contractors </li><li> Ensure that customer requirements and expectations have been accurately identified and that the organization is meeting or exceeding customer expectations </li><li> Act as project focal point for all quality related systems such as iMAP, ATRAC, etc. </li><li> Review, co-ordinate, monitor and supervise Quality Plans submitted to the project from suppliers </li><li> Manage and execute project audits </li><li> Raise quality findings within management tracking database and ensure timely close out </li><li> Assist with the development of corrective actions, their implementation and monitoring for effectiveness </li><li> Responsible for assessing effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view to continuously improving systems, personal and team performance </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><b>Minimum Qualifications:</b> <br><ul><li> Candidates require a Technical Diploma, Business / Commerce Degree, or an Engineering Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution. Engineers must be registered, or eligible for registration, with the Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador </li><li> Other combinations of education and experience may be considered </li></ul><br> <b>Minimum Experience:</b> <br><ul><li> 10+ years of related work experience accepted, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
