Senior Electrical Designer

Our client is a specialist LNG container / tanker company, are recruiting for a Senior Electrical Designer on a permanent basis, based in Darlington. The role will be responsible for the production and checking of all electrical design documentation.</p><p> </p><ul>
<li>Ensure that all aspects of the design works are carried out in a diligent and professional manner.</li>
<li>To liaise with other discipline designers to ensure all interfaces are adequately covered.</li>
<li>Production and checking of Drawings, Schedules and MTOs.</li>
<li>Production and checking of Schematics and Termination diagrams.</li>
<li>Production and checking of Design Documents and Detail/General arrangement drawings </li>
<li>Carry out design activities using appropriate computer software programmes as required.</li>
<li>Checking Electrical control systems and vendor package equipment complies with interface wiring requirements.</li></ul><p> </p><ul><li>ONC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.</li><li>A good working knowledge of codes, standards and accepted working practices with respect to Electrical Design, within the Oil &amp; Gas or Petrochemical industries, including Cryogenic materials handling and storage (highly advantageous).</li><li>Experience working with overseas clients, preferred.</li><li>Proven experience working on projects as a Senior Designer.</li><li>Extensive knowledge of AutoCAD 2D. 3D preferred.</li></ul>
