<div class="mds-edited-text mds-font-body-copy-bulk"><p>English Teacher is required by a high achieving Hackney school, East London. The English teacher would ideally be a candidate with a strong academic background and a passion for bringing out the absolute best in their students.</p>
<p>You will have the ability and innovation to deliver good lessons that engage the inquisitive minds of our students. You will have the enthusiasm to inspire and challenge pupils to reach their maximum potential at all Key Stages and possibly up to A-level for suitable experience.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The successful candidate will be working in an organised and supportive environment where your growth and development as an English Teacher is a key focus as we support you through your induction year. As a school we encourage our staff as well as students to fulfil their potential by exploring and growing individual passions creating an environment where pupils and staff share an excellent relationship and students enjoy coming to school to learn. With strong links in our community, the respect for difference and diversity in all aspects is paramount.</p>
<p><b>About You</b></p>
<p>In particular, candidates should:</p>

<li>Show the ability to be a/or become an excellent classroom practitioner</li>
<li>Have high expectations of students in terms of learning, achievement and behaviour</li>
<li>Have enthusiasm for developing innovative and creative approaches to learning, teaching and student participation</li>
<li>Have a sound subject knowledge which they can utilise to challenge all pupils</li>
<li>Have a clear understanding of the latest curriculum</li>
<li>Have an ability to engage and motivate pupils</li>
<li>Have a commitment to support our enrichment programme by facilitating co-curricular clubs.</li>
</ul>
<p>Dependent on the candidate, this may be a permanent position or a long term supply role with a start date in January 2023 or July 2023.</p>

<p>Up to £37,857</p>
