<div class="mds-edited-text mds-font-body-copy-bulk"><p><b>Project Manager</b></p><p>We&rsquo;re looking for a Project Manager to join a dynamic and expanding peace-building organisation that seeks to build effective and lasting community infrastructures to end violence and division.</p><p><b>Position:</b> Project Manager</p><p><b>Location: </b>Home-based with occasional travel</p><p><b>Hours:</b> Full-time - 37.5 hours per week</p><p><b>Salary:</b> &pound;30,000 - &pound;33,000 per annum pro rata, dependent on education, previous experience, and skills</p><p><b>Contract:</b> Six-month contract with the possibility of extension</p><p><b>Closing date:</b> 30th November 2022</p><p>This position is open until 30th November OR until a suitable candidate is identified, whichever comes first. Shortlisting will be ongoing.</p><p><b>Benefits:</b> 28 days&rsquo; holiday pro rata, employer-contributed pension scheme, flexible working, home-based working</p><p><b>The Role</b></p><p>As Project Manager, you will play a key role in a small but powerful and growing team that works to create a well of support for change agents across the UK and builds infrastructures for cohesion and peace. You will work closely with the CEO and the programmes team to provide effective project management support for the organisation&rsquo;s UK programme. This position is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.</p><p>Key areas of responsibility include:</p><p><ul><li>Work closely with the CEO and programmes team to provide effective project management support</li><li>Lead on programme promotion and on answering enquiries from interested participants from across the UK</li><li>Help to oversee the participant recruitment process</li><li>Support programme participants to enrol and access the organisation&rsquo;s online platform, and ensure that they feel comfortable and confident using the platform (training provided)</li><li>Help to ensure the smooth and effective delivery of several face-to-face and online training sessions</li><li>Support with the development and delivery of a seed grants applications process, and with administering the seed grants</li><li>Support with networking and relationship building with changemakers in six UK cities</li><li>Help to support 6 Community Connectors/Facilitators in six UK cities</li><li>Support the CEO to ensure that Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning are effectively embedded in the programme and that learning is captured and shared, by liaising with the external MEL consultant</li></ul></p><p><b>About You</b></p><p>As Project Manager, you are a natural connector, able to build effective relationships with people from diverse backgrounds. Your proactivity creates support and value for the teams you work with. You will be comfortable working independently from home as well as part of a team.
