For a balanced planet.<br> <br> <b> Location: </b> <br> Abingdon, UK<br> <br> <b> Job Summary: </b> <br> The Student would be part the agile operating Geomechanics Team which provided cross-domain workflows. He would help to test and verify functionalities of different Software Products. For example checking whether data has been correctly liberated to the cloud and whether stochastic wellbore stability calculations upon those return reasonable results. Or whether line trace algorithms through a liberated 3D Grid swiftly returns desired results.<br> <br> <b> Essential Responsibilities and Duties: </b> <br> She/He would help to test and verify functionalities of different Geomechanics software products. For example checking whether data has been correctly liberated to the cloud and whether stochastic wellbore stability calculations are the right results (creation of golden datasets). Or whether the line trace algorithm through a liberated 3D Grid swiftly returns desired results.<br> <br> <b> Qualifications: </b> <br> Penultimate or final year student, studying towards Bachelors or Masters in Geomechanics or related field.<br> <br> <b> Competencies: </b> <br> Required skills:<br> - Willingness to learn<br> - Good communication skills<br> <br> Experience in one of the following would be advantageous<br> - Mechanics, stresses and mohr circle<br> <br> <b> BlueFlex: </b><br> We are open to flexible, hybrid working with a combination of on-site & home working days.<br><br>SLB is an equal employment opportunity employer.
