The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in framing and generating insights for the Commercial Organization inclusive of Field Sales, Commercial Excellence, Marketing, and Professional Education. The SFA will partner with the Commercial Organization across the US, Canada, and Latin America. Responsibilities: Produce and distribute all the Sales Reporting for the Americas Sales Leadership Team in both Commercial and Finance Frame sales analytics and insights to help identify drivers of operational variances, and to help influence improved Gross Profit Partner with Operations to drive alignment between Supply Chain and Commercial planning Analyze and report on the full P&L and B/S for Surgical Vision Collaborate with the Commercial Leaders to ensure each OPEX budget is managed in line with expectations, inclusive of Brand Marketing Expenses, Selling Marketing and Administrative, and Professional Education budgets Aid in the development of the Commercial annual budget and forecasts Collaborate with business partners in FP&A and cross-functional stakeholders to follow up on required budget and forecast deliverables Assist in preparing materials for monthly/quarterly operating reviews Work closely with key stakeholders to enhance and upgrade business analytics and reporting Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed Qualifications A minimum of bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or Finance. A minimum of 3 years of relevant financial experience is required. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and PowerPoint high proficiency is required. Strong analytical, communication and social skills are required. Strong influencer, independent thinking and strong planning/prioritization are essential to success and required. Highly motivated self-starter, that accepts accountability for assigned tasks, that adapts well to changing internal customer requirements / business demands and consistently meets goals with high degree of accuracy, quality, and attention to detail, required. Prior experience supporting upper-level management is preferred. SAP, TM1 experience is strongly preferred. The role will be based in Irvine, CA and may require up to 10% of travel. The base pay range for this position is $102,000 to $117,300. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
