HSE Lead

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood Applied Intelligence (AI) is currently recruiting for an HSE Lead to support our UK projects as well as supporting corporate activities. <br><br>Whilst this role can be based anywhere in the UK, mobility and travel to customer sites and face to face meetings with colleagues will be expected as required. <br><br><b>Join a culture of innovation</b>, pushing the boundaries of what is possible to seek the best solutions for our clients. <br><br>As an HSE Lead you will be responsible for the provision of timely advice and guidance on all matters pertaining to Health, Safety and Environment with respect to Legislation, Company Policy and Management System and Client requirements, thereby reducing risks to the business. The role will also have a direct responsibility for HSE Advisors and Coordinators within the Business Unit or Contract / Project. <br><br><b> Responsibilities / Duties: </b><br><br><ul><li> Providing strategic advice and guidance to Managers on all HSE related matters </li><li> Rolling-out of Group HSE annual objectives and initiatives and development of company HSE objectives </li><li> Providing support to Business Unit / Contract / Project Managers and HSE Advisors in the development and roll-out of Group HSE objectives and other initiatives </li><li> Providing support to senior Managers in incident and accident investigations through the use of an appropriate Investigation process (e.g. Helix or Taproot) </li><li> Monitoring
