Join our innovative Engineering and Supply Chain Team As a Lead Supplier Quality Engineer, you will take ownership for quality and continuous improvement across a range of suppliers. You will build relationships with internal teams and suppliers to ensure successful delivery. You will ensure supplier quality to global standards and lead continuous improvement where there are performance issues. Partner with the best As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will take ownership for technical and quality interface between BH and supplier, lead/support product qualification, conduct surveillance audit (QMS/SRG/TRS/Process/Product), take corrective action and preventative action with supplier to avoid defect escape and continuous improvement. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for: • Be responsible for driving quality for assigned suppliers, improving quality performance via Quality Plan implementation • Drive supplier selection through robust qualification processes • Accelerate improvements in supplier quality and deliver value • Tracking project progress and ensure on time delivery • Develop positive relationships and work closely with Sourcing Leaders to manage and implement supplier/engineering changes, New Product Introductions, and transfers • Interface with Suppliers and Supply chain to drive Quality improvements • Deliver results as measured by key metrics, such as Cost of Quality (CoQ)/Cost of Failure (CoF), qualification on time rate, supplier quality plan engagement / effectiveness, and corrective & preventative action closure • Drive improvements utilizing Supplier Scorecards and own Supplier audit, ensuring supplier compliance, and driving improvement plans • Understand and drive Six Sigma / Lean quality internally and with suppliers • Provide Quality Engineering expertise requiring advanced/specialized skills and a broad range of quality engineering expertise • Specify, develop, and accept advanced technology, quality information and test equipment • Provide advanced Quality Engineering of new product introduction involving new processes or advanced automated equipment • Act as consultant to the Quality, Manufacturing and Engineering organizations to improve Quality and Manufacturing processes, introduce new products and improve product design • Develop & implement product acceptance / test procedures • Provide leadership role during investigations of major problems and of special projects Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will have: • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with Major on Mechanical, welding • 5+ years' experience with oil field service machine product, fabrication related Engineered system for power auxiliary equipment (inlet/exhaust/fluid system), pressure vessel, heat exchanger and gear box (reducer) assembly is perfected • A minimum of 3 additional years of experience in a Sourcing or Quality Improvement role, Sourcing, Manufacturing or Quality Improvement role • Strong oral and written communication skills in English • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills • Ability to cope with multiple complex situations daily • Negotiation expertise • Strong problem solving and continuous improvement mindset About Us With operations in over 120 countries, we provide better solutions for our customers and richer opportunities for our people.
