Offshore Wells HSE Advisor (3/3 Rotation)

<ul><li>Providing guidance and advice to enable the Offshore Installation Manager to remain compliant with all legislation regarding Health, Safety & Environment, policies and procedures.</li><li>Engaging the offshore workforce to ensure client Energy safety expectations are understood and lived out.</li><li>Ensuring incidents and events are accurately recorded and investigated and associated actions tracked through to closure.</li></ul>MAE/MATTE and HSE Critical Responsibilities:<br><br><ul><li>Ensures that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and client Energy HSEQ procedures.</li></ul>Areas of Accountability, Responsibility and Competence Level:<br><br><ul><li>Supports offshore to understand and implement HSEQ procedures, feedbacks improvements to ensure all relevant legislation is complied with.</li><li>Ensure consistent application of policies and procedures across shifts.</li><li>Ensures pragmatic risk management solutions are implemented to deliver safe and efficient operations.</li><li>Lead / participate in audits and liaise with the Assurance Team to ensure delivery of the audit programmes.</li><li>Demonstrate active safety leadership at the work face, build trust with workforce and understand how work is done.</li><li>Knowledge of process plant hazards at both an individual and plant level.</li><li>Lead Offshore delivery and training for HSE Programmes including: Learning Organisation, Personal Safety Involvement, Life Saving Rules, Safety Focus Days, Management Safety Reviews and ER Planning.</li><li>Liaise with Environmental and Occupational Hygiene Advisors to ensure all elements of relevant legislation are complied with.</li><li>Ensures that the OIM and asset team are appraised of current regulation & guidance.</li><li>Proactive support to the platform management team and offshore safety representatives. Provides a focal point for communication with the offshore safety representatives.</li><li>Supports assets with Synergi / COMET providing coaching as required and lead investigations when requested.</li><li>Monitoring quality and accuracy of incident investigations, actions and close out, identify trends and proposing solutions.</li><li>Offshore Focal Point for Corporate & Regulatory Inspections.</li><li>Participate in emergency response support as required.</li><li>Any other reasonable duty as per instruction by your manager.</li></ul>Critical Skills Qualifications Experience, etc.:<br><br><ul><li>NEBOSH Diploma / BOHS Dip OH / or equivalents (Preferable)</li><li>A corporate member of a professional body which requires ongoing CPD.</li><li>Fully conversant with Synergi, COMET and other HSEQ systems required to effectively carry out the role.</li><li>Understands Major Accident Prevention and can identify improvement areas.</li><li>Detailed understanding of risk assessment / risk management processes.</li><li>Ability to collaborate, listen and coach personnel.</li><li>Must hold the UK required offshore certification.</li></ul><br /><br />With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil &amp; Gas, Power &amp; Renewables, Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining, Automotive and Chemicals sectors worldwide.With more than 100 offices in 45 countries, we are able to provide our clients with the engineering and technical expertise they need, wherever and whenever it is needed.
