<b>Primary Purpose of Job</b><br />
Formulate and control integrity to all topside pressure retaining equipment and structure on Halul, NFA &amp; NSS in line with asset integrity management system and risk-based inspection plan. Formulate and compile calibration and overhaul programmes for safety relief valves associated with static equipment and topside pipework on Halul, NFA &amp; NSS. Implement IMS/RBI inspection plans for static plant, storage facilities &amp; topside process piping &amp; transmission pipelines associated with Halul, NFA and NSS. Establish and implement inspection related responsibilities and subsequent recommendations during the major overhaul and construction of new storage facilities. Establish and implement inspection related responsibilities and subsequent recommendations during the construction of new hydrocarbon transmission lines. Detailed integrity technical review of pressure retaining equipment and specifications to ensure safe and economical operational use by asset holder. Detailed Review of Inspection results to establish, implement and control additional and future integrity requirements of Static plant/pipework &amp; structure on Halul, NFA and NSS. Prepare periodical progress reports on the asset integrity KPI&
39;s and weekly &amp; monthly reports to keep top management informed about the progress of all initiatives and to facilitate decision making. Ensure conformity to appropriate specifications, codes, and practices as to QatarEnergy and International Standards. Recommend and implement proactive inspection solutions with intent of continuous improvement of the division&
39;s objectives. Shall possess a sound practical understanding and working knowledge of appropriate NDT techniques as utilized within QatarEnergy offshore division to be responsible in allowing planning of short- and long-term Inspection objectives and activities.<br />
<br />
<b>Education</b><br />
BSc in Corrosion Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy, post-graduate studies in relevant field would be an advantage. Thorough understanding of NDT techniques and in-service application of NDT. Qualification in Relevant NDT Techniques to PCN/ASNT would be an advantage. High level of English language, Membership of relevant professional association. High level of Computer Literacy. Plant inspection experience or API certification (510, 570, 571, 653, etc.), with associated experience.<br />
<br />
<b>Experience &amp; Skills</b><br />
A minimum of ten (10) years in inspection and testing of pressure containing plant within the oil / gas / petrochemical industry Five years to have been spent in a senior position within the offshore industry sector. Must have knowledge of relevant codes, standards and specifications relating to pressure containing plant, safety relief devices, inspection, and non-destructive testing. Should have a sound knowledge of welding and experience of online inspection. Experience and knowledge of integrity management software systems such as SAP, APMS, RBMI, ACET, etc is preferred.<br />
