<div class="mds-edited-text mds-font-body-copy-bulk"><p>The National Portrait Gallery houses a unique collection of all forms of portraiture of the people who have made or are currently contributing to British history and culture; the collection is the most comprehensive of its kind in the world. With around 2 million visitors each year prior to temporary closure for the <i>Inspiring People</i> project and a strong national and international presence through touring exhibitions and special projects, the Gallery is one of the country’s most important and popular galleries.</p>
<p><b>Ticketing Operations Manager</b><b> </b><br />
<b>£32,000 per annum</b><br />
<b>Full-time, 40 hours per week</b><br />
<b>Fixed Term Contract for 22 months</b><br />
<b>Predominantly site based</b></p>
<p>We are looking for a confident and results-driven Ticketing Operations Manager, who can lead, motivate and develop a team of Ticketing & Membership Assistants, Contact Centre Assistants and a Contact Centre Coordinator; to deliver an exceptional visitor experience, achieve agreed income generating targets, and assist on the practical delivery of all the aspects on the Gallery’s Ticketing Strategy.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will be a great communicator who is flexible and organised, with experience in duty or venue management in a high profile environment. They must have a track record of line managing and motivating high performance teams, and have extensive experience of CRM or ticketing systems (preferably Tessitura) in a similar environment.</p>
<p><strong>This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to set up and take ownership of the vitally important ticketing operations ahead of the Gallery’s highly anticipated relaunch in 2023.</strong></p>
