Senior GIS Analyst

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. is searching for a <b>Senior GIS Analyst</b> to join our team in Kennesaw, GA. Ideal candidates will have a BS degree in GIS, Engineering, Geography, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or equivalent, approximately 7+ years' experience. The desired candidate will be a highly-motivated, enthusiastic individual with a true interest in learning and continued improvement. Knowledge of enterprise environments and relational databases is a plus. This exciting opportunity offers a growth position in a multi-disciplined, team-oriented environment. <br><br>Key Responsibilities : <br><ul><li> Perform GIS analyses using ESRI products and remote sensing tools </li><li> Apply GIS and database technology to complex spatial challenges </li><li> Manage field data collection using applications such as Survey123 and Field Maps </li><li> Create 3D data simulations for visual resources impact analyses </li><li> Perform both geographic and non-geographic data management and analysis, cartography, and automated GIS processes using a variety of analytical tools </li><li> Work on multiple projects simultaneously, with a commitment to keeping projects on time and within budget </li><li> Interface with clients, project teams, and project managers </li><li>Interface with other Wood groups and support Technology initiatives</li><li> Help grow GIS services, participate and help with recruiting </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> BS degree in GIS, Engineering, Geography, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or equivalent </li><li> A minimum of 7 years educational and work experience with ESRI's ArcGIS Desktop platform </li><li> Experience with data management using ArcGIS Online </li><li> Proficiency in Microsoft Office software </li><li> Database development and management proficiency </li><li> Excellent analytical / problem-solving skills </li><li> Ability to work both independently and as part of a team </li><li> Attention to details and experience with QA/QC procedures </li><li> Must possess good organizational, and oral / written communication skills </li><li> Presentation skills, including the ability to clearly communicate GIS technologies </li></ul><br> Preferred Qualifications : <br><ul><li> Experience in working with ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Enterprise in multi-user environments a plus </li><li> Familiarity with process automation using Python or other automation tools a plus </li><li> Experience with CAD platforms and data exchange between CAD/GIS environments a plus </li><li> Good communication skills </li><li> Work well with teams, internal Wood resources, and external clients </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
