<b>Use your legal expertise to review and negotiate new and existing commercial contracts</b><br><br><b>Join an exciting, autonomous, and collaborative legal team at Baker Hughes</b><br><br><b>Join our Legal Counsel Management team</b><br><br>Identify new opportunities and review contracts and new opportunities<br><br><b>Partner with the best</b><br><br>Shape the commercial landscape at Baker Hughes through dynamic, creative and collaborative legal application<br><br>As a Legal Counsel Manager, you will be responsible for:<br> <br><ul><li>Advising, negotiating and drafting commercial customer facing agreements to negotiate the best terms possible for all stakeholders and identify policy deviations</li><li>Identifying deviations across a variety of contractual and sub contractual agreements to ensure legal compliance whilst maintaining business objectives</li><li>Providing assessment, guidance and recommendations regarding contractual risk to Operations and Management to activate approval, renegotiation or withdrawal</li><li>Collaborating with cross functional teams to gain full understanding of Baker Hughes' contracting policies and processes</li><li>Resolving issues arising from existing and potential commercial relationships to provide business-oriented solutions</li><li>Conducting Legal Contract training seminars for sales personnel and other departments to effectively communicate the value of contractual and commercial legalities</li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br> <br><ul><li>Have a degree in Law and experience in commercial contract setting</li><li>Have experience in English Law in a Private Practice setting, ideally with Oil and Gas experience</li><li>Have experience with commercial contracts (including but limited to Claims, Disputes and Litigation)</li><li>Have experience or desire to work develop your commercial knowledge against Anti-bribery, Compliance issues, US export laws and Anti-boycotting</li><li>Possess excellent communication skills; high attention to detail and analytic mindset; and desire for ownership and autonomy</li><li>Demonstrate initiative and diligence in your approach to work; prepared for challenging conversations and negotiations</li></ul><br><br><b>Work in a way that works for you</b><br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
