The Sr. Marketing Manager, GGM - Primary knee techniques is responsible for the development & execution of global procedural strategy and execution for the Primary Knee business. Lead a team of marketing professionals in developing, managing and executing a pipeline of differentiated primary knee solutions derived from deep customer insights that restore knee function sooner and Keep People Moving! Key Responsibilities: This high visibility position will develop and work with a high powered KOL network to shape the future of knee surgery, drive business success for the knee platform and help restore knee function for surgeons and patients worldwide. This role is responsible for the evolution and execution of the Attune instrumented, Technology aided and Robotic Knee procedures portfolio. The person will lead with an agile mindset, be able to influence decisions across multiple levels, functions, platforms and stakeholders while ensuring execution with excellence of primary knee procedural strategy. People Leadership - This role is responsible for hiring and developing a high-performing team. The Sr. Marketing Manager is expected to lead/coach/develop a team of direct and indirect reports in order to accomplish market-leading growth of the kinematically advanced ATTUNE knee platform and create a culture of inclusion, employee development and growth. Procedure Strategy - Lead the development of US & global strategies for procedure-based products, services, and programs including Branding, value propositions, segmentation, positioning, and lifecycle management. Customer Insights, portfolio planning and commercial execution - Lead initiatives to identify key customer needs and procedural market trends. Partner with US & Global colleagues to ensure alignment between our global procedure strategy and regional needs. Lead portfolio of instrument & technology offerings that allow for differentiated knee procedures. Drive commercial execution through customer engagement, education, evidence generation, publication, and promotion. Be the subject matter authority for the procedure portfolio. Procedure Launches - Responsible for leading worldwide product/procedure launches and developing procedural techniques, marketing materials, pricing strategies, promotional plans, training plans, and forecasts. Lead launch efforts with key cross-functional partners, KOL’s, Regional Marketing and Sales. Financial Planning – Manage budgets, conduct value analyses, make tradeoff & prioritization decisions in support of financial goals. Conduct leadership reviews that report on progress to plan and impact on the business. Qualifications Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required. An MBA or other advanced business degree is preferred. Required: 5+ years total of progressive business experience in any of the following areas: Marketing, R&D, Sales, or a combination of experience in these functions. 2+ years people management or project management experience. Proven experience of strong communication skills, analytical skills, and the ability to influence others.. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a highly regulated industry. Ability to work in a hands–on, fast paced, customer focused environment. Position requires approximately 35%+ travel including weekends. The travel includes both domestic and international.
