This role will be based in Limerick, Ireland. SCOPE OF THE ROLE: The position is responsible for the end-to-end standard cost management for the Limerick plant. One of the main responsibilities is the standard cost setting for the Limerick plant (>$400MM yearly) and tracking of the actual costs. On top you will be responsible for the FAA Calculations both for actuals and budget and support internal and external audit cycles. In a rapidly changing finance environment ad-hoc project support might be required as well. Strong collaboration with the wider Limerick plant finance team is needed to ensure we operate within a well-controlled, SOX compliant, budgetary forecast and actual reporting framework. The SFA is part of the Vision Principal, Inventory & Costing team which is responsible for reporting and forecasting WW Vision inventory, standard cost setting and all the components of intercompany profit (incl Fx management, tax support, transfer pricing, profit elimination & system income). The SFA reports to the SC Finance Vision Costing Manager. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Lead the yearly & ad-hoc standard costing process for products made at the Limerick site in partnership with the site finance, sourcing finance and planning organization. Provide insights to senior management into drivers of change and impact on the business and profitability. Assist the costing manager with the roll-up, analysis and business partners reviews of the global Vision Care standards for the Limerick and Jacksonville site. Monthly tracking/reporting of the actual costs and variance versus standard costs for Limerick site Execution of monthly operational costing accounting close activities for the Limerick site. Ensure compliance with SOX, J&J Worldwide Procedures and Internal Control Handbook, and proactively drive the adoption of standardized global processes/procedures in own processes Calculate and analyze full absorption reserve for the Limerick site for actuals and budgets providing insights in variances versus plan and latest thinking to Supply Chain Finance management Ad hoc support and input for specific projects and audit cycles will be required as they arise Enhance/Improve own processes through the adoption of data visualization (e.g. Tableau) and automation (e.g. Alteryx) tools. Flexible and proactive approach; ability to cope with a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines QUALIFICATIONS: Required Bachelor and/or Master Degree in Finance or Economics or equivalent A minimum of 3 year of finance experience Fluent in spoken and written English Strong Excel skills Strong technical and analytical skills.
