Billing Accountant

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting for a Billing Accountant for Gurgaon location. <br><br><b> Key Responsibilities: </b><br><br><ul><li> To perform client billing in integrated Oracle environment using the various Oracle functionality </li><li> Client Billing includes manhour, expenses, fixed charges, and retention billing </li><li> To perform the reconciliation of manhours, expenses and fixed charges in Oracle and Billed to client or Statement of Work </li><li> Person should understand Oracle system and should be working experience of 1 year at least </li><li> Prepare various reports like invoice register, daily reports, unbilled report, aging etc </li><li> Create Cash Forecast and Accrual Data every month </li><li> Follow up with the Customer for the Overdue Invoices </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><b> Qualifications: </b><br><br><ul><li> Graduate, preferably Accounts / Commerce </li></ul><br><b> Job specific experience: </b><br><br><ul><li> Ability to achieve results through communication and facilitation in a matrix service delivery environment with shared accountabilities </li><li> Ability to multitask </li><li> Sound judgment, decision - making and problem - solving skills </li><li> Demonstrable experience of being able to prioritize and manage workload to achieve end result </li><li> Working to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high standard, quality of output </li></ul><br><b> Personal Attributes: </b><br><br><ul><li> Excellent communication skills are critical </li><li> Strong organizational skills </li><li> Effective working relationships with co - workers, managers and clients </li><li> Very strong attention to detail - this is critical to the success of the role </li><li> Hands on experience on Oracle will be an additional advantage </li><li> Good Analytical & Logical reasoning skills </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
