<p><b>Overview / Responsibilities </b><br />

Wood have a new and exciting opportunity for a National Workforce Development Advisor to join our team in Khobar, Saudi Arabia.<br />
<br />
<b>Main Purpose</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide advice and support to Leadership Team in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to design and deliver national workforce development programmes to support achievement of mandated Nationalization targets required for visa accessibility</li>
<li>Develop and manage the learning programs to promote career development of the Saudi national workforce through the coordination of training and development programs for all functions in the Saudi business</li>
</ul>

<b>Key aims and objectives: </b></p>
<p> </p>
<ul>
<li>Perform comprehensive learning needs analysis for development of national workforce in the KSA</li>
<li>Design, facilitate and coordinate consistent delivery of national workforce development programmes in KSA</li>
<li>Ensure that all Saudi nationals have clear career development paths supported by learning and development programs</li>
</ul>
<p><br />
<b>Prime responsibilities and duties: </b></p>
<p> </p>
<ul>
<li>To ensure National Workforce Development requirements in the KSA are identified, captured and met</li>
<li>To ensure schemes and frameworks for developing national employees in the KSA are designed, developed and consistently implemented</li>
<li>Identify and source relevant training and development programmes and courses as per requirements focusing on developing in-country capability in the KSA.</li>
<li>Liaise with training providers to ensure that identified needs are met and that delivery is high quality and continually reviewed to ensure continuous improvement.</li>
<li>To support Corporate Learning and Development initiatives, i.e. Graduate development, Leadership development, High Potential development in the KSA</li>
<li>To establish regular reporting about the progress against key performance indicators (KPI&
39;s) for National Workforce Development</li>
</ul>

<b>Allied occasional duties: </b></p>
<p> </p>
<ul>
<li>To facilitate training sessions for personnel in the KSA</li>
<li>To promote the Wood Wellbeing program across the KSA business</li>
<li>To act as focal point for client enquiries and contractual obligations regarding commitment to Saudi workforce training and development</li>
</ul>

<li>Advanced interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels</li>
<li>Ability to prioritise and manage work to deadlines</li>
<li>Good working knowledge of the training and development needs analysis and design of development programmes</li>
<li>Good working knowledge about competence assurance process</li>
<li>Ability to deliver training programmes would be highly beneficial</li>
<li>Effective IT skills</li>
<li>Fluency in English and Arabic is essential</li>
</ul>
