Understands concepts, methods, procedures and approaches.<br><br>As a Payroll Tax Team Lead, you will be responsible for:<br><ul><li>Reporting to GFO Payroll Accounting Manager and leading a team of Payroll Tax Analysts for Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa Regions<br></li><li>Handling the monthly tax preparations, submissions and / or payments for specific countries by specified deadline dates<br></li><li>Managing closing activities and ensuring completion of activities in accordance with set timeline and policy guidelines<br></li><li>Preparing, documenting and keeping up to date process documentation for Payroll Tax Accounting activities<br></li><li>Providing guidance and support to the team with regards to processes<br></li><li>Documenting and communicating any abnormal tax expenses to Operations and Management<br></li><li>Ensuring all Payroll Tax controls are adhered to and any process gaps are identified and addressed<br></li><li>Reviewing and approving reconciliations for Payroll Tax accounts<br></li><li>Implementing best practices in Global Finance Organization and standard processes which benchmark global best practices<br></li><li>Working closely with External and Internal Auditors to assist in completion of audits<br></li><li>Analyzing and providing explanation for Payroll Tax account variances and any debit balances or potential exposures<br></li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br><ul><li>Have Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CA.<br></li><li>Minimum 5-8 years' Payroll Tax Experience in any country and for any tax jurisdiction.<br></li><li>Possess good analytical skills with proactive mind-set, with the ability to bring expert advice and problem solving skills to the team.<br></li><li>Good interpersonal and communication skills, with good spoken and written English.<br></li><li>Ability to work both alone and as part of a diverse cultural team.<br></li><li>Have a good working knowledge and understanding of ERP systems, such as Oracle or SAP.<br></li><li>Have experience in Shared Service will be added advantage.<br></li><li>Experience in global mobility taxes advantageous<br></li></ul><br><br><b>Work in a way that works for you</b><br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
