Training Advisor

<p><b>Overview / Responsibilities </b><br />

Wood is currently recruiting for <b>Training Advisor</b> to strengthen our team. This is an Iraq based position for locally based Iraqis working for 8 Hrs per day/ 6days per week.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<ul>
<li>Maintains understanding of new educational and training techniques and meth Organize meetings with management before preparing course materials to ensure a detailed understanding of training subjects and processes.</li>
<li>Continually research methods and techniques in workplace training and remain up-to-date on developments within the industry and competitors.</li>
<li>Collect information from senior management and other departments regarding how well employees retain information and use the concepts learned in training course.</li>
<li>Identify training needs according to needs.</li>
<li>Develop quarterly and annual training program.</li>
<li>Present all the technical and supply training requirements.</li>
<li>Prepare budget for training program</li>
<li>Communicate all the training programs on a timely basis.</li>
<li>Implement training KPIs as applicable</li>
<li>Coordinate, plan, and assign training programs in accordance with available resources and business demand</li>
<li>Maintain accurate measurement and reporting of all assigned training metrics to establish accurate statistical baselines and to assist in on-going analysis of the training program</li>

<b>Skills / Qualifications </b><br />

<b>Training Advisor Qualifications: </b></p>

<li>Relevant education level.</li>
<li>15-20 previous experience in planning and managing training programs and activities with multinational companies / training institutes, etc.</li>
</ul>

<b>Training Advisor Skills: </b></p>

<ul>
<li>Solution/action oriented versus simple problem reporting.</li>
<li>Effective communications skills (oral &amp; written).</li>
<li>Ability to interact in a multi-cultural environment.</li>
<li>Previously worked in a leadership position.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience in liaising with various business lines, third party contractors and business partners.</li>
<li>Good management /supervisory, interpersonal and motivation skills.</li>
</ul>
