If so, this Production Manufacturing Operations Staff role could be an ideal opportunity to explore. As a Production Manufacturing Operations staff, you will lead a team of technicians to provide cost-effective and efficient maintenance service that will ensure plant availability in delivering a secure supply of products to customers. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following: Identify the root cause of technical problems and effectively resolve these to ensure process and equipment availability Lead and supervise a team of technicians to approach complex and multidiscipline work to ensure a responsive and effective resolution of problems Conducts quality checks with owners, where appropriate, upon completion of the work Co-ordinate, organize and supervise contractor work associated with multi-disciplinary activities, e.g. annual statutory inspection Comply with related Group Quality Policy requirements and ensure full familiarity and implementation of all applicable GSK Corporate Governance Policies Assist the maintenance team in providing technical expertise for the troubleshooting of equipment breakdown and failures Communicate with maintenance supervisors and other departments stakeholders for improvements Maintain the site equipment and facility to high Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standard meeting the regulatory expectations such that the site is always inspection ready Lead technicians in identifying areas of improvement and implementing continuous improvements to enhance reliability and cost-effectiveness of Engineering activities Accountable for the Operation & Maintenance of the Factory water systems and responsible for the supervision of all the water services to ensure the availability and quality in accordance with required design specifications Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems to ensure the continuous supply of air-conditioning as per required quality and design specifications Accountable for identified risks as well as the development and monitoring of risk mitigation plans Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Associate degree in Engineering 7 years or more of experience in water treatment plants, steam, compressed air and HVAC Plants Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment Experience with safety hazards and safety assessments Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Excellent Tech understanding over a broad range of mechanical systems Good understanding of compliance (Engineering, Quality, Safety) Good written and verbal communications skills Solid computer skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) Why GSK?
