The Caribbean team publishes curriculum-based content for the Caribbean and international schools markets. Our lists cover all subjects from pre-primary to upper secondary levels of education, with both print and digital resources targeted at individual territories or whole regions.
Our International Curriculum Publishing has been recently created for schools following international English language curriculums, in particular where English is not the mother tongue of teachers and students.
We require a Development Editor to work within the publishing team to develop quality, curriculum-lead content for international markets: You will support the Publisher in developing sound initial product concepts and is responsible for developing these products with the authors to deliver quality manuscripts to the editorial production team.
You also be in collaboration with in-house Sales and Marketing both in the UK and overseas, Production and Design teams, as well as agents, representatives and key stakeholders in the markets is vital in ensuring that the publishing meets the needs of the key audience and stakeholders.
This role provides an opportunity to fully engage with and influence the content and to input in to the look and feel of a product.
Objectives:
Work on the manuscript of components to ensure that they are written to brief and fully aligned with market needs

This role is based in London and all employees are currently working remotely. However, when offices re-open all employees will be required to be in site in line with our working from home policy.
