Overview Deputy Operational Diretor is responsible for overall security services within the contractual frame of S2 Secure in Tirana International Airport. The main responsibility shall be managing and coordinating all security staff within his organization in TIA. You shall be responsible for full implementation of S2 Secure agreement with TIA in respect to security services. Responsibilities Enforces security policies, protocols and procedures regarding guarding and patrolling, CCTV monitoring, access control and crew & staff operations Risk assessment of assets and take precautionary actions to avert incidents Provide daily or weekly briefings to security personnel and supervisors Responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day operations run smoothly If any area requires improvements, should develop an action plan and implement at once Collaborate closely with operational personnel, security, maintenance, and outside contractors to ensure the business operation runs smoothly Always comply and adhere to all company policies and procedures Ensure that the highest standards are always achieved and maintained Responsible that all team members work well within the team Escorts the national inspectors around the airport during an inspection or audit Creates and updates a security database regarding incidents Examines various types of security related reports from employees and security staff, such as requirements, incidents and security breaches, and takes appropriate action if necessary Taking attendance of the employees as even one missing employee could be result in a lapse in security Conducting inspection of security on a daily basis Plan out an evacuation strategy on paper and implement it in case such a situation arises. Supervise the application of approved security measures and procedures to ensure their effective implementation and consistency. Maintain effective liaison with other airport departments and relevant law enforcement authorities. Establish and promote an effective threat or incident capability. Know in depth and understand national and international laws and regulations dealing with unlawful interference against civil aviation. Maintain a record of all incidents of unlawful interference affecting airport operations, including bomb threats, and of all weapons and dangerous devices detected during passenger screening. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years aviation security experience (preferably Airport/Airline). Detailed knowledge and understanding of ACAA regulations and implementation. Albania Civil Aviation Authority Certificated Security Manager. Knowledge of Security Management Systems within the aviation industry. Knowledge of Emergency Planning and Response for Airlines and Airports. Skilled and knowledgeable in aviation security regulations, both Albanian and International (ECAC & ICAO). Confident in the delivery of written reports, risk assessments and briefings to senior management. Ability to communicate at all levels. Good customer service skills. Decision-making. Strong in meeting deadlines and working under pressure. A working knowledge of Microsoft office and operational systems. Good organizational skills including project management.
