Preferred Knowledge/SkillsDemonstrates some knowledge and understanding of employer sponsored health and welfare programs/plans with a proven track record of successfully consulting to employer clients, experienced with:
- Health and welfare program/plan design experience for active and retired employees under various plan types, including HDHP, HMO, EPO, PPO, and Indemnity;
- Claims administration knowledge, including experience with medical, dental, mental health, life and disability claims and vendors
- RFP experience to include developing RFP packages, managing RFP processes, and analyzing RFP responses for medical, pharmacy, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, voluntary benefits, etc.;
- Pricing, financial analysis, and estimation of costs based on claims data;
- Healthcare claims analytics including drilling down into data to understand cost drivers and trends and to make program recommendations;
- Exhibiting proven oral and written communications skills;
- Team player with proven work ethic;
- Ability to communicate findings to management, vendors and clients;
- Ability to develop client ready deliverables with key recommendations;
- Proactive ability to remain current with evolving industry and regulatory changes impacting health and welfare plans, and;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Power BI.

The salary range for this position is: $75,000 - $118,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
