Salary: £24,840 - £26,577 Per Annum

Hours of Work: 37 Hours Per Week

The role; 

The successful candidate will have responsibility for ensuring outstanding customer service to all customers for the department (including internal and external, colleagues, students, apprentices and employers) and matching students to employers and monitoring achievement.

Duties include;

• Co-ordinating and recording all work placement programmes for all students across College in partnership with curriculum teams.
• Working closely with Success Coaches, Curriculum and employers to ensure a pro-active approach to developing and promoting all placements across College.
• Develop employer relationships that lead to the creation of placement opportunities of high quality, and linked to the needs of students on the Traineeship programme, enabling the effective matching of students to placements by the Traineeship Team.
• Promoting the Business Plus team, working with Lead Business Partners to establish links with employers who are keen to support learners on all work placement programmes.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required;

• GCSE - Maths and English - Grade C or equivalent (Essential)
• Qualified to Level 3 (Essential)
• Relevant qualifications in any of the following areas: IAG counselling / mentoring / youth work (Desirable)
• Experience in engaging stakeholders & external companies  (Essential)
