Role Summary:-
As a Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the sourcing and procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in sourcing within the Oil and Gas industry, with a strong understanding of supply chain processes and best practices. Proficiency in SAP, SAP ARIBA, and MS Suite is essential for success in this role.
Essential Responsibilities:-
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services in alignment with company goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their sourcing needs and requirements.
• Conduct supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract management to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of goods and services.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies as they arise.
• Analyse market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Utilize SAP and SAP ARIBA systems to streamline sourcing processes and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Prepare and present reports on sourcing activities, cost savings, and vendor performance to management.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in sourcing, procurement or supply chain within the Oil and Gas industry is a must.
• Strong knowledge of SAP, SAP ARIBA, and MS Suite applications.
• Proficiency in speaking and communicating in English to meet job requirements.
