The Team: The Upstream Commercial Specialist is responsible for the customer experience and revenue growth of clients and prospects in Oceania region: Australia, New Zealand and PNG. This role is part of the Upstream Commercial Specialist team within the APAC region and necessitates close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Client Services, Content, and Product teams. The Senior Upstream Commercial Specialist will enhance our presence within the industry and identify new growth opportunities. Identify and nurture a diverse pipeline of opportunities for Upstream solutions across client segments in Oceania. Cultivate relationships with clients at all levels to maximize the value they derive from our services. Gather client feedback and collaborate with Upstream business line, ensuring product development aligns with client strategies. Engage directly with clients and lead initiatives at Commodity Insights-hosted events. What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree or higher. Minimum of 10 years in B2B sales, with a proven track record of meeting revenue targets, developing new markets, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. Direct experience with Oil & Gas clients an advantage. A strong passion for energy, commodities, and energy transitions. Background in solution selling with focus on commercial growth. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with customers, markets, and internal stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interactions at all levels. A collaborative team player. Willingness to travel 20-30%+ within the territory.
