Fuel our success with your hunger for what's next. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist to provide comprehensive HR services to our Hong Kong employees. This role requires a strong understanding of Hong Kong employment law and tax regulations, as well as experience with payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR systems. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. About the job Responsibilities: Payroll & Tax Compliance: Accurately and efficiently process payroll, ensuring timely and compliant tax reporting in accordance with all applicable Hong Kong laws and regulations. This includes monthly tax declarations, adjustments, year-end reconciliations, and managing all employer and employee tax obligations. Benefits Administration: Manage the seamless implementation and administration of all mandatory government benefits (e.g., social insurance, pension) and company-provided supplementary benefits for Hong Kong employees. HR Systems & Data Management: Serve as a super user and guide for Workday, ensuring its effective utilization and administration. Manage and maintain accurate employee records within Workday and other local HR systems, including attendance tracking and benefit applications, while adhering to all compliance requirements. Vendor Management: Monitor and manage the performance of our payroll vendor, ensuring high-quality service and effective collaboration. HR Operations Support: Provide a full range of HR operational support to Hong Kong employees, including inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and HR systems. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in human resources shared services or HR operations within multinational corporations (MNCs). Proven experience with payroll processing and tax compliance in Hong Kong; strong understanding of Hong Kong employment law and regulations. Proficiency in Workday (or similar HRIS system) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint). Excellent communication, interpersonal, numerical, and analytical skills. Fluency in spoken and written English and Cantonese (Mandarin a plus). Detail-oriented, proactive, positive attitude, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
