Libera Consultants are currently supporting an international operating company who are looking to strategically hire a number of Senior Drilling Performance Engineers for their remote operations center in Spain. The successful candidate will have around 10 years& 39; experience and provide operational and engineering support to enhance drilling performance by monitoring, analyzing and optimizing various activities during well construction in order to achieve Operational Excellence.

Key responsibilities:

- Work on 24/7 Rotation support shift (8 hrs operation)

- Perform and validate key calculations for field personnel, such as, T&D, hydraulics, casing wear, etc)

- Prepare and distribute performance benchmark through operational teams

- Daily monitoring of the performance KPI& 39;s, identify ILT& 39;s (Invisible Lost times) and other opportunities of improvement

- Distribute any high value lessons learned or best practice

- Support D&C personnel with the use of performance evaluation and new analytic tools

- Capture and track all MOC& 39;s from global operations

Background:

- Experience in D&C operations, including in field operations and in engineering positions

- Skills in planning and well design software, specifically to Landmark suit

- Int. Skills in the evaluation of performance KPIs and identification of operational improvements

- Basin modeling skills, including hydraulics, torque and drag, drill string design, BHA design and vibration

- IWCF level 4 certification preferable
