Do you have a passion for supporting children with additional learning needs and social, emotional and mental health? Are you an experienced or aspiring SENDCO committed to making a difference to the lives of children? Are you enthusiastic about making a significant contribution to the success of our school?
At Rushey Green we are looking for a passionate practitioner with a genuine commitment to inclusive education and raising the standards of teaching and learning. We are looking for an inspirational SENDCO to join our highly committed Inclusion team. We are a creative and caring school with high standards and the drive to keep on improving. We deliver on our ethos to ensure that every young person can thrive and achieve. Our aim is to educate the whole child in a healthy and balanced manner, developing the physical, emotional, and intellectual capacities of each child through an age-appropriate curriculum.
The successful applicant will have strong pastoral skills, supporting children’s social and emotional developments, mental health and wellbeing and behaviour needs. You will support teachers and teaching and learning support assistants in planning and delivering a fully engaging, rich curriculum. The successful applicant will bring an innovative and creative approach to supporting the strategic direction and development of SEND provision across our school, whilst effectively managing and developing the progress and achievement of our pupils.
