Also serves in the role of Patient Advocate ensuring that all matters are promptly investigated and resolved. Qualifications Education:Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or Social Work required. Experience: Minimum of one (1) year experience with computer applications, word, excel and database management/general overall good clerical duties. In the absence of Patient Advocate direct experience, the appropriate on-the job-training will be conducted. Additional Requirements: Must have knowledge of medical terminology and must be able to type 45 wpm. Must have strong knowledge of Joint Commission and Patient Rights Standards.
