The Rig Manager is overall in charge of the assigned onshore and offshore rig operations. Moreover, to manage the rig as a profit and performance center and to provide drilling and support services to the customer.
Key Accounabilities
Assist Operations Manager to market existing equipment, new equipment, and services in drilling.
To be responsible for the quality of service performed by the rig that the rig operated in accordance with contractual obligations and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Ensure the operator's program is accomplished.
Ensure the rig operations are operated in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Promote and ensure compliance with the companies preventative maintenance system.
Equipment Live cycle / Reservation.
Promote and ensure that the companies training program is implemented and followed by all appropriate employees on the rig.
To control inventories in accordance with planned levels.
Assist Operations Manager to provide activity forecasts and revisions for the district.
To complete a financial budget in accordance with the forecasted activity and proposed revisions.
To maintain field expenses in accordance with approved or revised budgeted expenses.
Assist Operations Manager develops strategies to improve market share, introduce new technology in rig operations and to market existing equipment, new equipment, and services in drilling.
Preventative maintenance system implemented.
Operator's program is followed & accomplished.
Maintain FAR.
To ensure proper communications with all employees on the rig.
To ensure an annual individual performance evaluation is accomplished for all employees on the rig.
