
Creative Support is a national, fast growing not-for-profit organisation providing support to individuals with a wide range of care needs. We are currently seeking highly motivated Relief Support Workers to work at our service based in both Hyde and Stalybridge, Tameside. We are looking for respectful, warm and enthusiastic individuals to work in our Tameside Intensive Support Service. You will provide person-centred support to service users with learning disabilities, complex behaviours and physical/sensory disabilities. You will enable them to enjoy a fulfilling and valued life, to participate in the community and to develop their abilities as fully as possible. You will have the opportunity to support individuals with the wide range of activities that they enjoy, including going to discos, swimming and going to the cinema. No two days are the same! As well as providing direct care and support, you will have the opportunity to act as a Key Worker supporting people to achieve their dreams and ambitions.
Relief Support Worker Duties:
As this is a Relief Support Worker role you must have previous experience of supporting individuals with care needs. You must demonstrate a ‘can-do approach’, person-centred values, energy and commitment. You will have a strong work ethic and duty of care and be able to contribute to a positive team approach.
It is expected that you will work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the service.
