Regional Fundraiser
Charity People are thrilled to be working with a national homelessness charity in their search for a Regional Fundraiser. This is a fixed-term contract for 6 months covering maternity leave.
Location - Office is London based - The role can be home-based anywhere in England
Fixed-term contract - 6 months
Full time - 35 hours per week
Salary - £38,290
Start date: ASAP
This is an exciting role as you'll be working creatively with colleagues across the region, to deliver exciting projects, provide an excellent supporter experience and bring in income from multiple fundraising streams (community, corporate, individual giving and trusts & statutory).
This role would suit a Fundraiser who is confident at maintaining and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders and who can demonstrate experience of working with supporters, donors and community volunteers across a UK region or country. You will work closely with the National & Regional Fundraising Team and Volunteer team to ensure that GB-wide campaign partnerships and projects run smoothly. You will also plan and manage a key event alongside the logistics team to raise funds to end homelessness.
Excellent communication skills across all levels and the ability to implement a successful fundraising strategy are essential to the role, as well as being able to network with funders at a senior level. You also must have experience managing budgets and be able to apply digital marketing techniques and channels in a fundraising environment.
Staff are currently working from home with plans to possibly return to the office in November (still TBC). However, the role itself can be home-based.
