Happy Trails Pet Spa and Resort offers pet services including dog daycare, dog and cat boarding, and grooming. We serve Northern Colorado and we are conveniently located between Loveland, Windsor, Greeley and Ft. Collins. We are your one-stop shop for pet care! As a Front Desk Worker at Happy Trails Pet Spa & Resort you will: Receive and place calls to clients for the purpose of scheduling, updating, etc. Prioritize multiple tasks in a calm, organized manner. Maintain proper documentation through client and pet records, i.e. immunization records, medical concerns where necessary, etc. Assist all clients by providing necessary instructions, information, and invoices. Utilize resort computer systems to thoroughly document check-in/check-out for pets and any specific instructions or observations associated with the pet. Manage the financial needs of the resort by maintaining accurate balances through collection of client transactions, following all cash and credit card handling procedures, and following proper opening and closing procedures. Excellent customer service skills and an exceptional level of communication in a professional manner. Maintain a positive attitude in all interactions with clients, pets, and other teammates. Demonstrate ability to show empathy toward clients and treat pets with compassion and respect. Other duties as assigned by the Pet Resort Manager. Ideally looking for a candidate that has experience working in an animal care environment in a customer facing position for 1 consecutive year or more. Also looking for a candidate that is interested in being crosstrained as a Kennel Worker to potentially cover 1-2 kennel worker shifts a week. The pay range for this position is $14.42-$15.50 plus tips. Hourly pay is dependent on previous experience. Utilizing standard office/business equipment. Flexible schedule including some weekend and holiday shifts. Experience with kennel software is preferred. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments. Possession of organizational skills. Critical thinking – Understanding logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, good judgment and ability to manage stressful situations.
