Overview / Responsibilities Wood is looking for a
Quality Assurance Administrative Coordinator to join our project construction team at our project site near Gogama, Ontario.
The successful candidate will support the sites quality department in relation to all aspects of its information structure management and discipline documentation handling, maintain key quality related databases, and provide support in all aspects of quality communication.
Responsibilities - Deliver timely and effective administration support to the quality function and the ongoing maintenance of quality systems and databases.
- Maintain effective information storage systems to enable easy retrieval of QA/QC documents and data.
- Support regular compilation and reporting of quality related QA/QC data for management reporting and review purposes.
- Support quality and management systems communications, training and inductions.
- Support the management system management of change process (including publishing of new or revised content and the removal of obsolete content, new project start up, etc.).
- Maintenance of all records demonstrating full traceability of changes to management systems.
- Input to the ongoing improvement of quality systems and applications
- Organizing calendars, meetings, distribution lists, bulletins, etc.
- Provide Administration support for daily QA activities and contractor turnover
- Document review and processing
- Care, custody, and control of QA documentation to verify quality construction activities and installations are being completed in respective work areas
- Internal audits against Quality Management System for Contractors and subcontractors
- Assist and support external audits with Wood QA team
- Audit and review documents and process implementation of competent 3rd party testing personnel
- Complete all of the activities above while implementing the safety essentials
Skills / Qualifications - Minimum 2 years of administrative experience on a large construction site
- Previous experience with Turnover packages and coordination
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proficient in the analysis of data
- High level of both written and spoken communication skills
- Good planning and organizing skills with a strong attention to detail
- Authorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood is required
