Region APC > Service APAC > HIBIKINADA OFFSHORE TECHNICIANS

Responsibilities

• Compliance with Vestas Health, Safety and Environmental Management System
• Perform Electrical and Mechanical service operations
• Maintaining and upgrading installation activities
• Carrying out a diversity of check-ups, repairs and replacement activities of turbine components
• Responsible for a frictionless operation of our turbines and use of our systems like Condition Monitoring / Remote Control
• Creating follow-up orders
• Registration of time and material consumption the company ERP system

Qualifications

• Completed electrical or mechanical degree from a technical school/college/university
• Accepted Qualifications are: NVQ L4, HNC/HND in Mech/Elec/Marine, C&G full technological certificate/diploma equivalent. Suitably experienced candidates without the above qualifications will consider only in exceptional circumstances
• Comfortable working offshore and at heights, coping with the respective challenges this brings

Competencies

• High level of Safety awareness
• Professional experience (electrical or mechanical) and experience offshore and with high voltage (experience gained over a 2 year period)
• A person able to integrate in to offshore life
• Willingness to travel to other sites when required
• Team, Creative, dependable, technically capable
• Valid driving license for Japan
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and driver& 39;s license
• English skills in reading / writing (or willingness to try an international environment)
