Demonstrates proven thorough knowledge of a variety of international tax research, consulting and planning issues pertaining to a global network of professional services firms and its clients, emphasizing the following areas:

• Advising U.S. and foreign multinational companies on the tax implications of their international operations;
• Coordinating U.S. tax laws with foreign tax laws to develop an optimal worldwide tax strategy; and,
• Understanding and leveraging government practices and procedures.

Demonstrates thorough level technical skills, including the application of U.S. tax laws with foreign tax laws to develop an optimal worldwide tax strategy, application of tax treaty provisions, preparation and processing of requests for private letter rulings for global network of professional services firms and its clients, emphasizing the following areas:

• Identifying and addressing client needs by actively participating in client discussions and meetings, communicating a broad range of Firm services;
• Managing engagements including preparing concise, accurate documents and balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues; and,
• Leading teams through creating a positive environment by monitoring workloads of the team while meeting client expectations and respecting the work-life quality of team members; providing candid, meaningful feedback in a timely manner; and keeping leadership informed of progress and issues.

The salary range for this position is: $84,000 - $202,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
