What you will do Lead the design and development of enterprise-level data solutions, including data warehouses, data lakes, and real-time analytics platforms, using Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Azure. Design, develop, adapt, and maintain data warehouse architecture and relational databases that support data mining. Perform solution shaping and data architecture, including estimation, solution planning, and creation of statements of work to meet customer requirements. Support pre-sales efforts by providing product, technical, and business expertise for proposals, customer presentations, and/or tailored software demonstrations. Lead delivery teams and mentor a young and talented delivery team, providing them with leadership, knowledge, support, and experience. Stay updated with the latest developments in data architecture technologies, products, and trends. Identify opportunities for improvement in our data architecture processes, and proactively recommend strategies for optimization and efficiency. What you bring to the role 10+ years of consulting experience with data architecture for enterprise customers. Hands-on experience in designing and implementing large-scale data architectures and data migration projects with modern data platform. Experience in providing pre-sales support, including developing proposals and conducting demonstrations for data architecture solutions. Experience with scoping, estimating, cost analysis, and resource planning of projects. Experience in leading delivery teams. Proficiency in Data Integration (Sourcing, Storage, and Migration) and Data Quality, Profiling, and Cleansing. Strong understanding of cloud analytics and data management. Proficiency in using SQL and Python. Strong business acumen and ability to translate commercial requirements into technical solutions including the ability to communicate technical concepts and their impact to stakeholders at all levels. Hands-on experience with data processing and analytics using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake or Azure Databricks is a plus Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric is a plus. KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information The expected base salary range for this position is $112,000 to $179,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications.
