Þpartment Legal Affairs Job Summary The Manager of Legal Operations is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Legal Department, with a strong emphasis on optimizing workflows, enhancing processes, and strategically allocating resources. This key role oversees the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system, ensuring seamless support for all facets of contract management and administration throughout the organization. ________________________________________________________ Contracting Expertise & CLM Leadership Serve as the subject matter expert for contracting and CLM operations, partnering closely with senior leadership to drive efficiency in the legal contracting process and negotiations Act as a primary liaison between internal service line leaders, external vendors, and stakeholders Coordinate contractual correspondence, develop and maintain contract templates, manage contracting files, review and draft contracts (including addendums) Lead ongoing CLM system improvements, user support, and training Transactional Oversight & Attorney Support Oversee and route a wide variety of transactions and agreements to appropriate attorneys for review, ensuring matters stay on track throughout the contract lifecycle Assist attorneys with redline support, coordinate follow-up during negotiations, and serve as the primary liaison between the vendors, attorneys, and internal requestors Project Management & Stakeholder Engagement Provide comprehensive project management leadership including prioritizing tasks, managing timelines, and maintaining detailed project plans Deliver regular status updates to Legal Department Leadership, Directors, Managers, and other key stakeholders across the organization Promote proactive communication with internal departments, external vendors, and leadership to ensure timely execution of agreements and process improvements Operational Excellence & Performance Tracking Drive continuous improvement in workflow and legal processes, overcoming operational barriers and implementing best practices Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and reporting tools to track and analyze legal department performance metrics Team Leadership & Staff Development Lead a team of legal operations professionals and collaborate closely with attorneys Partner with attorneys to drive operational excellence of the legal department Required Qualifications - Require a bachelor's degree in business, information technology, finance, science, social sciences, English, engineering, healthcare administration, legal studies, or related field. - Require a minimum of two (2) years of experience in legal operations, contracts management, project management, or a related field, preferably within a healthcare, government, or regulated industry. Preferred Qualifications - Prefer previous experience in Healthcare (Hospital or Health Insurance) or Legal Services working in areas of project management and implementation, as well as previous experience in preparation, administration, and monitoring of contracts or oversight of an electronic contract management system. - Prefer Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project, and Visio) experience. - Prefer a self-starter, initiator, strong organizational, presentation, interpersonal and consultative skills. - Prefer demonstrated ability to implement complex processes and solutions and multiple projects simultaneously in the healthcare space. - Prefer demonstrated written and oral communication skill, to include composing contract language correspondence. - Prefer effective communication and management skills in order to guide direct reports, influence stakeholders and maintain positive relationships across cross-functional areas. - Prefer demonstrated organizational and time management skills to maximize productivity and outcomes. - Prefer demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment. _______________________________________________________________ Reputation.
