The Opportunity

As a Management Consulting - Actuaries Intern, you will engage in projects that focus on workforce consulting, specifically within rewards and benefits. This role offers a unique chance to immerse yourself in the intricacies of compensation and payroll, benefits administration, and stakeholder engagement. As an Intern, you will support teams by participating in projects, conducting research, and observing professional work environments to gain exposure to PwC's practices. You will be encouraged to adopt a learning mindset, actively listen, and express ideas clearly, contributing to the team's success.

In this role at PwC, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in process improvement and payroll software, while gaining valuable insights into the management of employee benefits programs. You will be part of a dynamic environment where you can ask questions, take initiative, and produce quality work that adds value for clients. Responsibilities

- Supporting teams in conducting benefit plan analysis and benchmarking studies
- Participating in the evaluation and improvement of compensation and payroll processes
- Assisting in the management and utilization of payroll software for accurate wage processing
- Engaging in data analytics to enhance workforce insights and performance measurement
- Contributing to the development and reporting of rewards and benefits strategies
- Collaborating on service delivery projects to improve client satisfaction and outcomes
- Observing and learning from stakeholder engagement practices to enhance service delivery
- Assisting in the preparation of reports for compensation and benefits programs
- Participating in process improvement initiatives to optimize business operations
- Supporting the implementation of incentive programs to motivate employee performance

What You Must Have

- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, or Mathematics
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements and demonstrate a commitment to undertaking and passing actuarial exams
- Client service intern positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application. Winter internships typically occur during the spring semester preceding the student's final year of school Summer internships typically take place during the summer preceding the student's final year of school

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
