SUMMARY: * The Logistics and Distribution Manager is responsible for overseeing our 3PL and transportation operations within North America. They will manage our partners, including pricing, master service agreements, KPI’s as well as daily optimization coordination of order cycle. Meet and exceed cost, productivity, and customer service delivery KPI’s. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Strategically plan and manage freight providers and brokers * Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets * Implement and oversee freight routing policy and procedures * Keep track of quality, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency * Resolve any arising escalations * Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements * Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management or related Logistics and distribution field * Proven working experience as a freight manager * Proven spend management capabilities * Demonstrated competency of global trade compliance * Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff * Proficient in standard shipping software * Demonstrated competency with cross-functional engagement and collaboration * Proficient computer skills – particularly Microsoft Office applications * Experience with D365 is desired * Highly organized and ability to adapt to quickly changing priorities with a sense of urgency * Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills * Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
