Learning Support Assistant/LSA - Acton - ASAP Start

Servoca Education have partnered with a fantastic Primary school in the Acton who are recruiting for Learning Support Assistant/LSA to join them ASAP.

The role will involve working with pupils 1:1 with Special Needs and Challenging behaviours who require extra learning support. The SEN Teaching Assistant will have the opportunity to work closely with children who suffer mental health difficulties, display challenging behaviour or have learning difficulties, eg. Autism.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant to develop their experience with Special Educational Needs. The ideal candidate will have degree graded 2.2 or above and previous experience working with SEN children is preferred, but not essential.

The ideal LSA for this Primary school in Acton will be confident and passionate about working with students who need extra Learning Support. They will have a can-do attitude and willingness to help in other areas of the classroom, and the ability to work well under pressure. Ideally, the successful Learning Support Assistant will have excellent behaviour management skills and desirably some form of restraint training.

The ideal Learning Support Teaching Assistant will be able to commit for the full academic year and the expected salary will be from £65-£85 per day. Relevant previous experience would include youth work, support work, mental health work and SEN in sport.
