Responsibilities We currently are looking for a Lead Social Worker/Therapist to join our team of dedicated Behavioral Health professionals working with adults dealing with psychiatric and/or substance abuse issues. Therapists conduct therapeutic and case management services for adult and adolescent patients. They provide individual, family and group therapy. Therapists are responsible for developing the psycho-social history, assessing the therapeutic needs of the individual and family and developing appropriate treatment plans. The Therapist assumes responsibility for the overall discharge planning needs and placement of patients. Therapists act as the patients and families' primary contact during the patient's stay at the facility as well as their advocate with the treatment team. The Vines Hospital, located in Ocala, FL is a premier behavioral health facility offering individualized mental health and addiction treatment to adults in a secure and private setting. Our services include partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. We offer acute psychiatric, detox, and PTSD treatment. Our Location We are located in picturesque Marion County, FL. Qualifications Requirements: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or other related fields. Two – three years of direct clinical experience specific to family, individual and group therapy with adults required. Experience with PTSD or DBT as plus. For specialized issues or treatment modalities, training must be specific to these; abuse reactive, sexual offending, substance abuse, sexual trauma, vocational, play therapy, art therapy and relaxation therapy. Must have knowledge of human development over the life span. Current license from the State of Florida, such as LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC preferred.
