The role involves designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines. The Engineer will integrate data from various sources and deploy solutions on cloud services. Additionally, they be responsible for optimizing data infrastructure for performance, scalability, and reliability. Responsibilities Analyzing and Organizing Raw Data Building Data Systems and Pipelines Evaluating Business Needs and Objectives Conducting Complex Data Analysis Preparing Data for Modeling Other duties as assigned Qualifications 3+ years of experience utilizing Hadoop technologies, including Spark to ingest, transform, and process data Experience in Cloudera installation, configuration, debugging, tuning, and administration Experience with SQL through Hive, Spark, or Impala for querying and managing data within the Cloudera ecosystem Knowledge of Python, Java, Scala, or Pig for data processing and scripting Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team environment, collaborating with analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements Bachelor’s degree Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience managing and monitoring data platforms using Cloudera tools, including Cloudera Manager or Hue Experience managing infrastructure implementation on on-prem and Cloud Experience optimizing query performance and resource efficiency Experience with a public cloud, including AWS and Microsoft Azure
