About the Location Hybrid Position: This position may be considered Hybrid based on PetSmart’s FlexSmart policy and business needs. A Hybrid work arrangement is considered to be a blend of onsite and remote work activity. Associates with a Hybrid work arrangement have a work space at Phoenix Home Office and can be required to come onsite between 1-5 days a week as determined by leadership and based on business needs. About the Job This position is responsible for our Physical Inventory processing which includes working with our stores. Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to): Work as a point of contact for Physical Inventory questions and issues Review daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports Prepare monthly journal entries related to the accounting close cycle Reconcile store physical inventories, live pet cycle counts Work with stores to resolve inventory issues including inaccurate on hands, DC shipment questions, inter-store transfers and negative on-hands Research stores with a 15K over or shot inventory Backup to Desk Procedures Update procedures on a monthly basis Able to multi-task and meet deadlines Education / Experience One to two years of accounting experience preferred Associates Degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school preferred Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Analytical Proven Problem Solving Skills Process Improvement About the Culture At PetSmart, we work hard to create a culture where every associate feels like they truly belong and we celebrate the unique stories, backgrounds, and experiences our associates share.
