To learn more visit: http://www.mayhillhospital.com/careers Position Summary The Intake Supervisor is accountable for assisting the Director as applicable, as it relates to the Assessment activities at the facility. As a clinician, this position at times provides direction to a staff of Intake Coordinators/Specialists in the provision of psychiatric assessment services, including clinical evaluations, crisis intervention, and referrals. This position interfaces closely with the medical staff, unit employees, and at times treatment team/external case managers/managed care organizations, while also functioning as a liaison with other hospital intake departments. This position provides department oversight in the absence of the Director of Assessment and Referrals. Tuition Assistance Student Loan Forgiveness Program Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS Education: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, mental health or a related field Experience: Two or more years’ experience in intake assessment activities within an acute psychiatric setting with supervisory experience. A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a psychiatric hospital setting including customer contact. Licensure: Must possess a license in social work or clinical related mental health field. LPC, LPC-A, LMSW, or LCSW license required. Additional Requirements: CPR certification, Handle with Care and Verbal De-Escalation training within 30 days of employment prior to assisting in a restraining procedure.
