For more information, please visit our website: https://anchorhospital.com Anchor Hospital is looking for an Intake Counselor, whose responsibilities include assessment of psychiatric and medical risks/needs of those who present for care; provision of treatment recommendation, immediate patient/client disposition, arranging hospital transfer/discharge, making outpatient referrals, and/or making connections to other community agencies and resources. The position also requires, internal marketing, effective communication with physicians, efficient communication with referral sources, and overall excellent service to patients and other callers/visitors. Other responsibilities include being able to perform all aspects of the hospital’s assessment and referral process, including efficient and effective management of crisis calls and other telephone inquiries.
