Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the Indigenous strategy to support growth in hiring, supplier diversity, business opportunities, and community relationships.
• Contribute to enhancing relationships between SLB and First Nations communities, with a focus on the areas we work.
• Create internal and external communications, advocating activities, events through social media, internal and external media sources.
• Assist in the planning to increase Indigenous cultural events internally in the key areas we w ork.
• Attend conferences, meetings, career fairs, and industry events, as needed.
• Organize work in SLB to gather information for internal and external reporting.
• Gain exposure to career opportunities within the energy technology industry. This person discovers SLB's role in the industry and the lifestyle associated with the job.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Enrolled in a post-secondary program with a preference in Supply Chain, Communications, Business, Aboriginal or Indigenous Relations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills to facilitate relationship building within and across teams, as well as within Indigenous communities.
• Experience in social media communications.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Indigenous people, governance, culture, history, community dynamics and protocols.
• Preference will be given to qualified candidates who self-identify as Indigenous.
• Excellent computer skills, including data analysis & presentation.
• Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in Canada, without sponsorship.
