As Europe ERM you will be responsible for the delivery of the ER service on case-to-case basis in the aligned countries, mostly but not limited to, small to mid sized markets. In conjunction with the aligned Regional ER Lead, you will support the delivery of the region ER strategy. You will also contribute to ER projects, as well as support ER cases and escalations across jurisdiction. In your role as Europe ERM, you will need to use your judgement and perspective to ensure we are delivering the best ER solution, with a focus on informal resolution where appropriate. HR Manager, Employee Relations Key Responsibilities: Support ER team members across the cluster in relation to ER case strategy and innovative approaches to problem solving for assigned cases. (This includes supporting other ER team members to lead the best course of action, identify and mitigate risks and manage escalations, as required.) Develop innovative, simplified approaches to resolving ER concerns in line with our employer agenda for the cluster for assigned cases Support the Regional ER Lead with development & implementation of the local ER matter / case resolution strategy, taking into consideration the complex environment in aligned case Directly manage assigned Europe local and regional ER cases which involve internal and external legal, multiple stakeholders and local ER processes to deliver ER outcomes in line with GSK values and expectations, within SLAs. Investigate and end-to-end management of HR and Employee Relations for assigned cases, including, but not limited to: o Conducting investigation on conduct issues o Managing grievances under the formal process, o Drafting reports and proposing remedial action based on investigation/case findings, o Producing complete investigation documentation, o Analysing data from various reporting systems to ensure swift progress on cases, o Management of case stakeholders ensuring appropriate closure of the matter, o Implementation of disciplinary / consequence management processes, where required. Be seen as an local specialist in cases and guidance to ensure consistent implementation of ER process. Conduct early case assessments to determine the best course of action Conduct end to end HR investigations, including interview and investigation reports. Ensure data quality standards are maintained across the cases where required. Develop collaborative relationships with aligned stakeholders across cluster/country e.g. HR Country Heads and HRBL’s on cases-to-case basis. Support the cases with the support from the local employment law team with the employment tribunal / litigation cases where required. Why you?
